French Air & Space Force has announced the creation of a new tactical demonstration team for the 2021 season. The demo team is called “Gusto” and will consist of two Mirage 2000C from the Escadron de chasse 2/5 “Ile de France” unit, based in Orange, France.

The team pilots have already been announced as

GUSTO 1 (Blue): Patrol Leader, Flight Safety Officer, 2300 Flight Hours;
GUSTO 2 (Red): Patrol Leader, Tactical Expert, 1500 Flying Hours.

It was also announced that the display will last for about 12 minutes with the details to be announced soon.

At this moment the team plans to display at 3 French Air Shows but this list can change.

• 03 October / Gap / Meeting de Gap

• 14 October / BA115 Orange / Anniversaire des 80 ans de “Ile de France”
