ROYAL JORDANIAN FALCONS CANCEL EUROPEAN TOUR

The Royal Jordanian Falcons have announced today that they have decided to cancel their European Air Show tour for the second year in a row. The Royal Jordanian Falcons is the national aerobatic demonstration team of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Every summer the team’s aircraft are disassembled and transported by the Royal Jordanian Air Force C-130 Hercules to Europe where the team displays at a number of Air Shows.

Originally flying three Pitts S-2A Specials, the team changed to four fast and nimble Walter Extra-300L aircraft in 2007. Since 2018, the team have brand new Extra 300LX aircraft, a more modern and capable version of the Extra design. The team performs around the world, acting not only as an ambassador for Jordan but also demonstrating the country's aviation expertise.

Statement from the RJF:

For the second year in a row, and due to the international Covid-19 pandemic situation, we regret to inform our friends and fans that our 2021 European summer tour has now been cancelled.

We wish you all the best of health.

STAY SAFE
