During the airshow, SoloTurk will showcase the modern and high-performance F-16 aircraft operated by the Turkish Air Force. The team will present the high level of skill and knowledge necessary for its use, demonstrating the aircraft's capability to the audience. The demonstration flights are carried out with a solo F-16 C Block-30 aircraft, which is a fully capable combat aircraft and can be planned for any mission. White-coloured smoke is released from the smoke winders placed on the edges of both wings during the show, adding to the visual appeal of the display.

In addition to the demonstration flights, SOLOTURK pilots continue their combat training. This means that the team's performances are not only visually stunning but also a testament to the pilots' exceptional abilities.

Max Koskela, the airshow's event director and chairman of Vaasa Flying Club, is thrilled about the team's upcoming performance. According to Koskela, "It's great to have a big international air show in Vaasa for the first time in 40 years." The air show team has been working hard for more than a year to put together this incredible event, and their efforts are starting to bear fruit.

Display director Jyri Mattila is also excited about the Soloturk F-16 demo team's first performance in Finland. "The show is really great and memorable. Everyone should take advantage of this opportunity and come to see the fast maneuvers and agility of the fighter and hear the roar of the afterburner," says Mattila. The display is bound to be a thrilling and unforgettable experience for all those who attend.
