SoloTurk to thunder over Motril

The organizers of the Festival Aéreo Internacional de Motril have announced that the Turkish Air Force F-16 Solo Display Team, popularly known as the Solo Türk, will be participating in the event on the 9th of June, 2024.

The SoloTurk is the official F-16 Solo Display Team of the Turkish Air Force. They performed at the Festival Aéreo Internacional de Motril back in 2015 and are known for their incredible displays of power and exhilarating aerial maneuvers on the F-16 fighter jet.

SoloTürk, a single-aircraft aerobatic demonstration team of the Turkish Air Force, was established in November 2009 with the aim of showcasing the aerial skills of the Turkish Air Force pilots. The team underwent an intensive pilot training process which was completed in August 2010, with three pilots initially selected to fly for the team. The first demonstration flight was performed in September 2010 within the military, followed by the team's first public appearance on April 15, 2011.
